GB issues.

I am not able to take the (at) (dot) and turn them into @ and .
Images that users (or at least myself since I have no guests yet) post won't show up.

Also how do you take the security feature off? Like the jumbled letter number combo? I think I deal with some spam.

1 - You would have to edit the gb.class.php file

2 - You turn it off in config.inc.php

Well what am I looking for? I was unable to see anything that would need to be frfom false to true or anything in that matter?

Also it seems like I am unable to have users load up a picture.. Any idea where and what I would have to do there?

For the email address change do a search for [at]

The captcha switch is something like USE_CAPTCHA in config.inc.php

Those are called captcha.. okay..

NOW alll I need to smooth out is the picture situation.. People that upload a picture that will not load up.. I have tested this numerous times..
Anyone know where this is?

Have you set th etmp and public folders to 777 ?

CAPTCHA is the test where you type in the characters from the image.

The Captcha is gone all together thanks on that.

NO I have not set the public folders to 777.. it has been aawhile since I set items to database such as this. I have done forums and working on a chat room but this is new to me...

Since I set this up all I did was get the captcha out. I have straighten out the @ . deals .. So from there I need to make fix the pictures area.. Anything I am really missing and need to address? lol

Sorry I should of said set the permissions (CHMOD) the folders to 777.

CHMOD is something you do with your ftp client or file browser. Do a search on this forum for more details.

I have gotten tons of you reffering alot of people about searching the forum...

I did see one that someone was able to get to that prompt just never explained how..
How do you get to the CHMOD prompt?
