Problems after saving settings

After I save the settings (under "General Setting") I lose all the text labels on the screen and in the text in the select boxes, etc. It does appear to save the settings correctly and so far as I can tell all of the demo pages work correctly (voting, comments, etc).

Any ideas what might be causing the text to disappear after saving the admin settings?

Also, I'd love to use this as a multi-user application where people could login, make their own polls, etc, but not alter the admin settings. Is there any to do this? I'd pay to have this done if someone would be willing to add these changes.

Same thing here. Once I edit General Settings, the text disappears. Click on an icon and it goes back to normal until the next edit.
