Poll: How to update 2.07>2.08 ?

Hi all,

First of all, thanks for advanced poll. It works great!

Now I am running on version 2.07 but I would like to update to 2.08 without reinstalling everything. Is there any possibility in doing that?

Yes a changelog would be nice. Anyway I opened it in 7-Zip and looked at the file dates. The only things updated this year were updated on 13/6/2007 and they are

readme.txt
install.php
captcha.php
misc/get_admin.php
misc/uninstall.php
misc/upgrade_db.php

and everything in the include and admin folders.

I replaced all 2.07 files on the FTP with 2.08 and then I wanted to upgrade the database with ../misc/upgrade_db.php but when I filled in the database settings i got an error:

Does it work without the update?

You mean without overwriting all files on the ftp except upgrade_db.php?

I mean replacing the files but not running the update.

Yes it works but the script still says im running 2.07
