How do I change version 2.4.1. by 2.4.4. is for porn spam

I need change version.
I received 990 messages in 1 day pornography, impossible to delete them all, to get more : P.
I wanted the book to replace the 2.4.1 folder to the folder 2.4.4. but failed.
I love the Guestbook but now I have none, can you help please.

I don't think updating from 2.4.1 to 2.4.4 will make that much of a difference. Might be better off looking at my block bad words modification. Also start blocking IP addresses.

As to updating first make a back up of your existing files. Next simply download 2.4.4 and extract the files. Now delete the config.inc.php file form the 2.4.4 folder. Now just upload the 2.4.4 files to replace your 2.4.1 files.

Thank you, unzip the zip in the folder name book within the web frontpage, you delete that file config.inc.php, although I no longer have the 2.4.1 file. I try and tell you, thank you very much LOL

You could try sending a copy of your servers log to abuse@kimsufi.com as they are a web host.

Back up your existing files.
Download new guestbook and extract the files.
Delete the config.inc.php from the NEW guestbook files.
Upload the new guestbook files to replace the old ones.
