Combining CGI and PHP scripts on One page

Hi

I have a cgi script running on home.shtml and it runs fine. It's a news program. But today i wanted to add a php polling script to the same page. Of course I have to now rename the page to .php. Once I did this, the poll ran great but it no longer displays the news anymore. Any Ideas?

Ok kewl, it works now, my friend said something about using an IFRAME and it seems to work so thanks anyway...

I guess you solved the problem you are unlikely to read this. But!
Iframe is cool, as it works, but has compatability issues and it is not exactly the neatest way.
Just use the PHP script via SSI the same as you do the CGI.
