Hello,

Do you think that Opening and modding a console (In a way that could enable piracy/remove lockout) voids the terms of use and is Illegal? What about Mods such as portables? I know that this is a somewhat noobish question, but do you guys have any thoughts on this?

Hi all,

I'm still running AGB 2.2 here: www.club-xm.com\guestbook.

I have the same problem as this site's guestbook. I have a continuous stream of posters telling me how great the site is. So the first thing I tried to do was log in as admin. Of course I couldn't and went searching for an answer which brought me here. I have read through dozens of pages of this site and carried out the reset.php trick. I can now log in as admin. However, I'm stuck in the login loop because of the time/datestamp issue. I would fix this with the install.php fix but the carbonize.co.uk website has been suspended and I can see that its up for sale which would lead me to believe its not coming back anytime soon. I hope very much that I'm wrong. In the meantime, I have looked elsewhere for either a copy of the install.php file or a printout of its contents so that I can see what changes to make to session.class.php file to overcome the date format issue to no avail.

Is there another location where the files previously available on carbonize.co.uk aer now stored or is there any likelihood that carbonize.co.uk is coming back on line?

Hi, I did a few searches and found that this hasn't coming up or at least isn't searchable by "ban by email address"

I have someone spamming my guestbook, and they are using the same gmail.com address everytime(or very similar), but the IP address is changing everytime, so I can't seem to block them from posting.

Would it be possible to add ban by email address to the guestbook admin?

I use danish lang. in my guestbook. When i reseve an email noification i mis the special danish caracters. How do i change the charset in the e-mails

Long e-mail address makes the first column very wide

and reduces the second column which contains the actual message. This problem happens with Firefox, but not with IE. IE wraps the long e-mail address to keep the width of the first column as I've specified. Is there a fix for this? Thanks.

On the "Sign the guestbook form", only the 12 pre-selected (default) smilies are displayed even though I have enabled more using the Administration tool. The only way for a visitor to see them all is to click the "show legend" link. Is there a way to show them all on the "Sign the guestbook" form?

I Inserted 2 Buttons for release and delete:

And I Inserted the $Adminbuttons in template entry.
Also I make a connection to SMF Forum, and from there I get the value of $ISADMIN. For confirming and deleting Entries I create 2 php files wich contains the mysql connection and the queries.

Change colour of hyperlink in posts?

How can I change the colour of a hyperlink made in a post? I use a black background for the guestbook but when I post a hyperlink it is also a dark colour so shows up as blank. I dont know how to use css and I have managed to change it by changing the code in guestbook files but I cannot find the one that creates the colour of the hyperlink.

First let me say that this forem has really help me do what I wanted to do and I did not have to ask the questions. I just looked for others that asked the same questions.
My problem: While I was fixing my Guest Book the way I wanted it I did something to some code and I need the original. Moving the page to the left

Hi!

I've installed the guestbook, and set the width to 600px.
My homepage consists of three frames; top, left and main. I'm opening the guestbook on the main frame. When opening the guestbook it is placed in horizontal center, but I would like to have it adjusted to the left, so it is close to the left frame. I assume it's possible, but how do I do it?

Im old and not so familiar with coding so I need some good instructions. I'm able to go in to the administration site and edit the php files, but not sure what has to be changed.

Hi, I've just installed the advanced guestbook 2.4.3 but the captcha-thing isn't working properly:

just look at www.wanderlager.ch/guestbook and try to enter a message.
you see that all the letters in the captcha-picture are over each other so you can't read it.

Is there any solution for this problem around?
