Database Error

I have a test of Advanced Poll 2.0 running at http://madarab.com/boothtest.php and it seems to be working. But I'm trying to incorporate it into my main page, http://madarab.com which is a mysql/php based message board. I'm trying to put it on the bottom left side, down where the events are, as that is the only part that I can really configure, which is called on by an actual file with a php extension.
But when I do this, I get a 1046 No Database Selected error. here is a screen capture of the error: http://madarab.com/error.jpg and then it won't even load up the rest of my message board. Keep in mind, I'm including the same file that the test page is running, I'm just including that boothtest.php file into the script.
Does anyone have any ideas?
