MySQL Error : Query Error

I have a Linux server running PHP 4.2.2 and this is the first time that anything of the sort has happened. The same error message is prompted when I try to edit the Styles or General Settings through my admin panel. I used PHPMyAdmin to check out the guestbook database but was unable to find anything recognizable, being an MySQL dummy. I navigated to the book_words table and it gave me the same message: [b]Can't find file: 'book_words.MYD'[/b]

Please tell me how to resolve this problem without losing my guestbook entries. Thanks in advance!
