Is this adv. poll safe? Can't hackers find my mysql username and password in that config.inc.php file? And may I delete the install.php file or not?

If you try to view that file you will get a blank page or a forbiden notice.

MySQL is certainly the way to go.. its Much faster than using the Text files, and its better for your webserver (BTW, im a Server admin).

Always, if you have the option, us a script that uses PHP w/MySQL over CGI, and or Text File DBs.
