1st the things like in readme.txt:

1. Open the configuration file 'config.inc.php' with a text editor
and set up your database settings.
[i]the name of your database is username_countryletters_db (ie caspar_nl_db, consult tripod help for details) you don't need a database password[/i]

[i]now upload all files, it's the most easy to use an FTP program[/i]
[i]now log into tripod and turn php and MySQL databases on[/i]

2. Create the tables for the guestbook:
mysql -u<user> -p<pass> <database> < guestbook.sql
Or use the script 'install.php' -> http://www.yourDomain.com/guestbook/install.php

[i]just use the script[/i]

3. Give write permissions to these directories:

- public - 777 (drwxrwxrwx) (directory)
- tmp - 777 (drwxrwxrwx) (directory)

[i]they already have write permissions on Tripod [/i]

4. The default account is:

Username : test
Password : 123

[i]you can login with the admin.php and this password/username combination. Now you should be able to change the settings and your password[/i]
