I have a guestbook centurionsSC.com/guestbook

And the text is coming up white in the guestbook, this is probably to do with the csc I have for the whole site, but am unsure how to change it. I still need white text in the main section.

Go to your admin section look in the style settings.

If your useing a style sheet change it in there then.

Your source code shows the guestbook's style settings were replaced when you created your custom header. Now it shows the style sheet for your main page:

Make a backup first. Then try replacing the above code with the original code that came with the guestbook. That might allow you to change the settings from the Admin Panel:

Also, you have a robots meta tag in there. Allowing the robots to index your guestbook sets you up for hacking.

A stated above when you replaces the header file that comes with the guestbook you removed the CSS block that gets generated and so you can no longer control the styles from the admin menu. Add the entries mentioned above to your stylesheet, adjusting the colours etc to suit your needs.

ps Don't worry about being hacked as you are using version 2.3.1 of the guestbook.
