Advanced Poll 2.03 Installation issue

I have installed Advanced Poll V2.03 and have correctly set the DB params and file permissions as indicated in the two readme.txt file.
wehn I run the admin utility to create a new poll it does not seem to actually creat one.
My question is: what is the location of the new polls when they are created and is there a doc somewhere on how to correctly set up a poll and have it displayed on a web page?

Thanks

Advanced Poll install issues

I managed to search around through the other posts last night and get a php page working with a poll on it.
I think you could save yourself a huge amout of time if there was a "quick start guide" or a brief "how to" doc posted somewhere.
It seems that the majority of the posts here are all because of problems getting started.
For example. One last piece that I am looking for now is a code snippet or explanaition of how to take the php reference to to a newly created poll and embed it into an existing html web apge.

Thanks.

------Mike
