Hello
First of all I'd like to thank developers for good soft.
But for me it works very strangely.

It allows to make votes for random 2 persons and after that continues showing results to all rest users of the WEB without showing the first page and not giving an opportunity to vote.

I tried to do 3 different polls with different standart settings, but the story repeats.

What can it be???

YOUR not supposed to vote multiple times, ie spamming a poll so you favourite result comes out on top.

Sorry, I don’t understand what are you talking about. We don’t get each other…
For instance, I vote once and mr X votes once too – there are 2 votes in whole system. Now it closes and any other visitor of the site DOES NOT see the buttons, because system shows everyone (not only to me and mr X!!!!) the results, consisting of 2 votes only!!!
Nobody can vote any more! There is NO “vote” button shown, which visitor could press although he sees the poll for the first time in his life!
PLEASE NOTE that all the 3 polls only look alike. Indeed those are 3 different votes with different vote option strings (more spaces inside, “--“ instead of “-“). And the problem started when there was only 1 of them, so there is nothing multiple about them.

Also the files, referring to voting system are unique.

I only paste those links into different HTML docs with tag. But this should deal nothing with spamming!!! EACH VISITOR LOOKS AT 1 VOTE PAGE AT A TIME, so he must have possibility to vote and see the button “vote”.

You can't see the vote button because you voted.
But I can if I went to your site.

It's way to stop people voting for the thing repeatedly.
AKA spamming a poll, just the same as spam email to try and sell something, in this case it is to make it look like one particular option on the poll is chosen more.

I mean it would be pointless if I could go to your site and vote in your poll repeatedly to get my selected optoion to the top with the highest number of votes.

Ok, now I see, it’s getting interesting. The problem is that I have asked by ICQ 6 different
persons from different Russian towns whether they can see the first page or results. Everyone saw results only, not the first page! None of them could vote. Can you try to vote please? Does system count your voice?
I’d like to ask every one who reads this topic to try all 3 polls – which of them works, if any?

I was able to vote in the first two but not the third.
Check in the admin panel, for each poll whether there is an expiry
date or the poll has been disabled (some may be enabled or hidden).

There are PLENTY of topics on being able to vote more than once and
the like all over this forum. Search. You'll find a lot more information
that may help you understand all this and solve your problem/s.

You definitely don't understand the problem for the 3-d time already.

Please read carefully all my posts! I write just exactly what it is and not what you think it might have been with others. Don't mix up please.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT VISITORS CAN NOT VOTE AT ALL!!!
Not "MORE THAN ONCE" but "AT ALL"!!!
NOT A SINGLE TIME!

How could U vote if I still see in results of all three polls 2 persons.
Did you check up that red small "total" figure in the bottom of page?
Nothing changed! The system is still frozen with 2 votes.
If you sum up 2 old + your 1 it will be "3" , won't it?
The only difference with you is that you saw the first page once, but still your voice was not counted.

I'd like to mention that I didn't do any changes to code and I use only simpliest settings from control panel and I did not change anything after those 2 first votes. The system handled itself!
The expiry date in all 3 polls is "NEVER" or JUNE 2006.
MySQL works properly.

If you were lucky to see the first page -- does it mean that visitors abroad Russia can see or did it happen thanking to your browser settings or what?

This is more a problem with your end. You'll have to solve it.
Also SEARCH the forums about whether users can/can't vote and under what circumstances.
This has nothing to do with my understanding.
