Advanced Poll results disappeared

 Advanced Poll results disappeared.

I had the poll working with about 13 votes accumulated from small number of friends, that I use for testing, prior to releasing this version of my website.

www.eDOGSnCATS.com

The poll program seemed to be gathering the votes correctly until this morning. The results have disappeared as though no one had voted. I can look at the stats an see that it has a record of the votes. The number of days are set to 0 and expire option is set to never on the options page.

When I access the poll list page the number of days is 5 and the expire option is never. I set up this poll 5 days ago so it appears that even though I had set the number of days to 0 on the options page, the
program somehow picked up 5 days. If I remember correctly 5 days is the defaults value when the system is installed.

Is there a way to recover the votes? I did not have logging turned on but can still see stats. for the votes that were cast.

Even though I have set the poll days to ) the poll listing page still shows 5 days. How can I get that value changed to 0? The option page value doesn't seem to do it.

Should I try to fix this poll or start over rebuilding it from scratch?

Hmmm!!

When I re-entered the site after reading Auron's response I got the same results as before no votes. I sure thought that every time I entered the poll after making my initial vote days ago the results would display and I would be prevented from voting again.

I clicked view results and could see that the voting had been incremented by Auron's vote. I voted again and can now see the results as they should be. Now if I re-enter the page the poll appears as it should and I am prevented from voting.

I guess I must have somehow dropped my vote cookie when I was doing some maintenance on the website.

Thanks for the help.
