Por que você quer usar este script se o phpnuke já vem integrado com um sistema de 'polls/surveys' (enquete) ?

I need to know how I can modify this script to allow me to do a vote on a proposed member and when you reach a certain number of votes, to be performed by LINE UP members who are notified via email about the new interest in enter. The number of votes is set by the administrator. I think you need something else as this is more for choosing one of multiple options and you cannot limit how many votes a person makes.

Carbonize, you seem to be the goto guy on Advanced Poll.

One subject you didn't cover in your links is how to PREVENT people from voting more than once.

Whenever I refresh the page containing my test poll, my vote in the poll is increased by one. How do I prevent multiple votes by the same user? I don't see this option in General Settings or in Create a new poll. I suspect the problem is with the cookie.

I placed the following code immediately before

My code in the section is

I've not used the poll in years but I believe it stores the posters ip address to prevent them voting again. Or does it use a cookie :-/ can't remember. It's possibly something you have to activate in settings.

Unfortunately, nothing in settings except the option to change the "You have already voted!" message. I tried installing this script through Fantastico and Quick Install (hostgator). Maybe if I go manual I'll have better luck.

With the help of one of the links you posted in this thread, I found the answer.

I changed CHECK to IP table and LOCKING TIMEOUT to 999 hours.
