I've read the guide "Guide on How to Add Poll to HTML page", and still am having problems on adding the code in my .htaccess file.

I use .html at the end of all my site pages, and don't want to change it to .php . I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

When I add the code "AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .html", I get the following popup box:

Header: Opening index.html

You have chosen to open
index.html
which is a HTML file

Basically asking me to save the file...

What am I doing wrong?!
