Advanced Guestbook Help

I have been working with PHP MySQL and Apache on my Windows XP system. I am trying to get the advanced guestbook to work. When i try to run the install.php, i keep getting an error that I cannot connect to the database. I am not quite sure how databases work. I know that my domain allows me to do this as well. How can I find out what my domain is, or how do I set one up. Please help.

~X1088LoD
