try creating this below and attaching to after your footer div:

font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size: 9px;
color: #FFFFFF;
text-align: left;
vertical-align: bottom;
}

regardless, I had the same issue with a style sheet overriding the Advanced Poll Template!

i have the same problem in my poll, i want align it to the left, and the vote option and show results to the center.
