True, but usually the referrer has a link on their referring page to my site that does the referring (in that particular section of my statistics). Here not only are there are no links on the referring page, there are no links on the whole site. I've checked through the source pages for some sort of hidden link, but none there. Their "referrals are mostly spam sites that are messing up all my statistics. also if you know this, a query in phpmyadmin that qill delete all the comments at once?
