captcha doesn't work (it's not displayed)

hi

on my addentry-site the captcha doesn't display. for a very short moment it shows that there will be a pic but this disappears on the spot. maybe it helps to have a look at that page under [url]www.fotozuerich.ch/guestbook/addentry.php[/url] and also check out the graphic-properties. could it be because i still use the version 2.4.3? the update-site in the misc-folder shows that there is no update necessary...

i would appreciate your help very much!

Check that you have no wmpty space before the in it.

I looked at the image and there is a lot of empty space before th eimage code which is why it's not showing. This space is either in the config.inc.php file or the language file you are using.

I got one step further insofar as now the space for the captcha-image remains but it shows that the image is missing. It was a missing bracket - } - in the captcha.class.php file. What could be the reason for still not showing the image? Here's the adress of the site again: [url]www.fotozuerich.ch/guestbook/addentry.php[/url]

ps.: I hope it was one step further...
ps.: I couldn't find any spaces, I think there aren't any

There wasn't a missing } as it now says

I rechanged it. But what could it be?

I got it! There were spaces after the ?> in almost all other php-files in the lib-folder except the two you told me... Ufff!

I've just installed the guestbook and its works great! (the latest version)

I've have only one captcha problem if i will sign the guestbook the captcha display perfect, only when I will place a comment the captcha doesn't display. for a very short moment it shows that there will be a pic but this disappears on the spot.

I.ve checked the white spaces and removed them but the problem stays!!!

anyone any idea??

ow I forgot something ...

when I first open "sign guestbook field" (The captcha image show directly) and then close this screen and open the commentfield again the captcha wil show normaly. verry strange.

I've contacted the maker of the script as it doesn't work on this site neither.
