Kann mich nicht einloggen

Hallo an alle,

ich bin neu hier, habe das Forum erst gestern entdeckt.

Ich verwende auf unserer Homepage Advanced Guestbook 2.4.4 seit etwa 4 Monaten.
Nun kann ich mich bei der Administration nicht mehr einloggen.

Benutzername und Passwort funktionieren nicht mehr.

Ich habe auch schon den Link
http://www.gdl-heilbronn.de/gaestebuch/misc/forget_pass.php
versucht, aber ich komm nicht weiter.

Ich weiß nicht was ich bei Hostname und Database eintippen soll.
Hab schon alles mögliche versucht - immer nur "Connection Error"

Ich bin für jede Hilfe dankbar.

Hallo Carbonize und vielen Dank für die Antwort.

Habe die config.inc.php heruntergeladen und mit dem Editor geöffnet.
Database und Host gefunden, in die forget_pass.php eingegeben.

Aber immer nur "Connection Error".

In welcher Form muß ich Host und Database eingeben?

Hab das gleiche Problem. Zunächst kam ich nicht mehr als admin rein, dann hab ich das PW auf meiner mysql-Datenbank die bei meinem Hoster liegt geändert nd jetzt kommt "Connection Error". Könnte das evtl. damit zusammenhängen, dass ich mit versch. IPs die Seite pflege? Sollte aber auch kein Problem geben, oder?

Nun habe ich es geschafft in der Datenbank (mysql) ein paar spams zu löschen aber wenn ich das Gästebuch aufrufen will kommt dies:

An der auf dem Server liegenden Datei /www/guestbook/admin/config.inc.php habe ich nichts geändert. Nur in der Datei der Datenbank über phpMyAdmin, die meine mysql verwaltet, habe ich Spamdaten gelöscht.

Prüfen Sie zuerst, tat die Kontodaten noch richtig sind und wenn sie dann überprüfen, ob verändern noch die Erlaubnis, die erforderlich Datenbank zu lesen.

Leider verstehe ich nicht, was Sie mir damit sagen wollen..
Wofür brauche ich eine Erlaubnis meine eigene Datenbank zu lesen?
Wenn ja, wie und wo kann ich das dann eingeben?

Ich denke am Besten wäre es, ein völlig neues Gästebuch über den Hoster zu installieren. Doch dafür würde ich gerne die Daten (= Einträge, die ich behalten möchte) retten. Die Funktion: [color="brown"]exportieren[/color] die mir mysql8.1blu.de anbietet verstehe ich auch nicht.

Finally it worked..
I really needed to copy the data (*.sql), delete the old database, put a new one on and backcopy (imported) the saved data.. uff. I also put the new guestbook in a new folder to make sure, that I don't change anything. Now I only need to rename the links on the site.

Thx for all the help, even it took me time to understand all the things..
