Can I translate the guestbook to portuguese?

Well i thought the guestbook was great and was using it on ALL of my clients sites until i realized that one of them had been hacked, and replaced with a page that the hacker put up... with offensive content on it...and i lost hundreds of entrys for a client, that was not at all cool ...
what do i need to do to prevent this guestbook from being hacked?

Bad design (deliberate?) prevents pwd protecting main dir, thus opening up guestbook to be deface, as mine was.

I used to have this guestbook on my site but it was hacked and spammed constantly. I had to take it off.

I think I got here by mistake. Or surendipity. I was looking at a website on Mammillarias. FanTAStic what you can find on the web. I'm going back there.
