TopDownloads v2.0 is great, I use it in my site.
I really want to say thx to the programer.
And I have few suggestions in TopDownloads 2.0, hope it can make topdownload better.
As my site have more than 500 files to download, its easier for me if i can put them in diff dir. And here is my few suggestions:
1. In the top 10 download page, ppl can click the name of file to download the files directly.
2. In the Admin. page, it is better that to make a check box. If admin want to del. 10 files, he only need to click those ten boxes and del them by one click. It is better than to del them one by one and it need lots of time to reload the page.
3. As I mentioned b4, it is better that if the perl script can scan files in diff. dir. The ideal case is in the admin. page, admin can enter the path(s), then it can scan those diff path(s) at diff. time.
4. Moreover, if the script can classify diff. files in categories, for example:
a.zip, b.zip, c.zip are php script
d.zip, e.zip, f.zip are cgi script
then in the admin page, there are two tables showing the file details, one is "php", one is "cgi".
When admin add a new path, then it will auto generate a new table to represent a new category.
5. It is better that if we can use SSI to show the total no. of files can be download in any page.
TopDownload is really a great script, if in the newer ver. it can have those funcitons, even it is not free, I will buy it without anyreason.
