Hey guys....

I have recently changed hosting companies and unfortunalty the server does not have MySql installed. Which means that my Advanced Guestbook is now useless.

Is there anyway to use MSDE instead of MySql...

Not sure if its possible, but any help to this topic would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks

Mik

Not at present and I've never heard of MSDE. I'll speak to Freddy to see what type of language MSDE uses and see if I cannot modify the mysql.class.php file to use it.

Thanks for the quick response Carbonize....

MSDE is microsofts cut down version of SQL server. You can add SQL instances to it... Id assume it works similar to mysql but the config behind Advanced Guestbook will need some tweaking i suppose...

Any more advice or help will be grweat mate...

Thanks in advance

Strange host not to offer MySQL though. Why did you choose them?
