My guestbook (2.4.1) is receiving so much spam that I want to turn the CAPTCHA option on. I tried it but the verification image shows the broken img sign. Can somebody tell what to do?

I just installed the newest version today, and my capcha also shows broken image. I already ahve advance guestbook on another site, and have migrated it with no problems. This new install just isn't working tho.

[UPDATE]
I did make sure that I have changed permissions on both the temp and public folders. Are there any other places we have to change?
