Comment on Guestbook Entry

Hi!
I have Advanced Guestbook 2.4.3 for my site http://www.milansagar.com .

I want to know how to remove the "Comment on Guestbook Entry" feature from my Guestbook. Please tell me what to do.

That is the place by which my guestbook is being flooded with spam! In any case that feature is not necessary for me.

I have successfully added the Human verification script from here to my Guestbook. That is holding till now.

Well! On a second thought, I wouldn't mind keeping this "Comment on Guestbook Entry" feature provided I can add Human Verification tool for this form too on the page:

How to go about it? I can handle some of the HTML but PHP! thats Greek to me!

2.4.3 has CAPTCHA for both entries and comments. You must have it disabled. It is enabled in the config.inc.php file.

Thanks ! But how to enable it? Actually what do I have to do?

Change the false to true in config.inc.php

I did change 'false' to 'true' in config.inc.php.

Then, when I wanted to open my guestbook page -

http://www.milansagar.com/guestbook/index.php

I got the message:
"You can't access this file directly... "

So I changed back to "false".

That is because you edited the IS_MODULE and not the captcha.

You are absolutely right! But I do not see any other 'false' or 'captcha' word in that file.

Thanks a lot. Recd your email with new config.inc.php file. Replaced it and still found no results. But it is all right. Since I have no knowledge of php I will like to leave it at that for the present.

What I ask of you now is that Please tell me how to disable or remove the "Comment on Guestbook Entry" feature from my Guestbook. I do not want any body to write a comment on any Guestbook entry. Let my guests write new Entries every time. Thanks to you, I have managed to activate the Captcha for the main Guestbook entries.
It is this "Comment on Guestbook Entry" feature that is the main source of all spam in my guestbook.

I'm starting to think you are not really on AG 2.4.3. Migh tbe worth checking. Anyway to remove comment link edit entry.php in templates folder.

I managed to remove the "Comment on Guest book feature".

I have added a link to your blog from my Index page as a mark of gratitude.

Saw that you were from Bristol. Though I am from Kolkata I am a sailor by prof. I visited Bristol long back in 1980 when my ship touched bristol during Xmas and New Year time.
