I filled in that a password is required for make a comment, but there's no box shown where I can put in this password if I want to make a comment.

Can anybody help me and tell in which file I should be?

No not that! That box I see, but when I want to make a comment, there's no box shown for the password and it says that my password is false...

Here a screenshot of the comment page, so you can see there's no box to fill in the password (which is required):

When you ticked the box in General Settings did you also provide a password in the box?

So long as the box is ticked and the password has been supplied it should appear. Maybe you are missing a template such as com_pass.php.

com_pass.php is in the templates directory.

Would it be possible for you to post a screenshot of the relevant part of General Settings or give me access?

Well it's set right. Wonder if there's now a problem in the script. Maybe he messed something up in 2.4.2. My wonderful employer wont let me download zips so can you send me a copy of comment.php and lib/comment.class.php so I can have a look.
