HELP!!!! Advanced Guestbook!!! Plz! Basic help needed!

I know I sound like a dummy

, but I really need you're help...
I've got several problems.

1. How do I check if I've got MySQL or PHP 4 on my computer?

2. When I upload the php-files, they are just listed like in a folder. When you click on one of them, a pop-up tells you to download the selected file.
Why?

3. I'd like the guestbook in norwegian please. How?

I know it's a lot to ask, but please help me. I'm kind of desperat

If you have a free site, don't waste your time.

If you have a real web host, you should ask your service provider.

If it is asking you to download it, it is not associated on your server. That means that php is probably not installed.

You need to tell us where your site is. Maybe that will help us help you.
