ok if you use an FTP loader, do you? if you do then right click (depending on the FTP loader) either "properties" or "change permissions" then change the selected permissions on the "readme" file that came with the scritp when u downloaded it.

Thanks for that info. Do you happen to know if the permissions for the bd version of advanced poll are the same as the textfile version?

yes the exact same, exept on the db one (i think) it has a pollfiles folder, or mabe the textfile one, but exept that , all the same
