Is there anyway to change "Thank you for stopping by my site. Here you can leave your mark on the guestbook?"

You need to edit the english php file in the Lang folder, there you can change it to whatever you like.

I've been looking all over all day long to find out how to make a few simple edits to the advanced guestbook, which was bundled with my webhost, which had zero info, nor did cpanel.net whom bundled this guestbook....
How to customize it a bit to fit into the website, that's all I wanted....
Thanks TomH!

When hosts provide scripts they tend to provide 0 help for them and also tend to have altered the scripts, sometimes badly.

Well, I guess I've just wasted my time listing all the posts just 3 topics down. Makes me wonder how far somebody looked.

By the way,
Anybody know what file to look in to get rid of the time and date stamp on entries?
I've gotten rid of a few things that tended to clutter up the feel of the guestbook... less is more more often than not.
Yours warm and fuzzily,
Bob.

Open up the templates/entry.php and delete the $DATE variable. Why you'd want to remove it I don't know. If you want to see extreme customisation of the Advanced Guestbook script have a look at www.carbonize.co.uk/Guestbook
