Problem with Poll script

Hello,I have installed the Poll script successfully and i have put this code snippet in my HTML

but it doesnt show the poll in the page but shows this text "poll_process(1);"

Then i changed the code a little

changed this

to this

That made that text disappear but it still doesnt show the poll. Its completely blank now. Pls help me.

okay ,... i see that this problem has been posted before. I have to convert it into a .php file ... but the problem is that the code should be included into a template for Blog:cms. I added the snippet to the HTML skin part of the script. It cannot be converted to .php

So is there any way i can make a poll.php and add the snippet in that file...and then call the php file from html ?

If you're adding it to a blog page or CMS then odds are the page is php already.
