Well its my first time trying to work with .php or whatever... and the thing why im interested is cuz da guest-bookz look amaizing .. i want one for my site .. and yes i downloaded the demo followed some intructions.. i just dont get how to upload the guestbook.pl ???
This is wut it says on the readme.txt file
2.Upload guestbook.pl in ASCII-mode to your cgi-bin directory
and change mode it to 755 (-rwxr-xr-x).
im very lost in this one soooo if please anyone could ever help me actually finish this guest-book .. i would really really appriciated .. oh yeah and 1 more thing
1.Open guestbook.pl with a text editor.
Change the url in line one, to the Perl program at your server.
Usually it is: - /usr/bin/perl or /usr/local/bin/perl for Unix.
- C:/Perl/Perl.exe for Windows (use slash "/")
Set the correct paths and required urls.
do i have to change the URL.. for my site? or for my drive??
anywayz i did post the thing in my site
http://members.rogers.com/fisy/gb/addentry.html
but it wont send it anywhere and the file
guestbook.pl its there but it jus comes out as a script..
here
http://members.rogers.com/fisy/gb/cgi-bin/guestbook.pl
