Removing Comment Option

I understand this will probbaly sound like a silly question to some...
but does any one know how to remove the comment option on a guestbook? i've tried playing around with my guestbook to no avail. i'd much appreciate any suggestions. Cheers!

in your admin section, just create a pasword for the comment feature. it wil still be there but only you wil be able to add sub comments i think.

could you not replace the comment icon with a transparent gif..would still be there..but not visable

To disable it open up templates/entry.php in NotePad.

And find this line...

Comment it out like this...
