Hello. NOBODY still ABLE to explain ONE TIME FOR ALL as we can put polls into *.shtml pages.
There are millions of webmasters using SHTML pages for inserting SSI calls ( <!--include virtual ---> ) even if renaming into PHP the pages is ok.

So, i inserted it and it doesn't look to run properly:

1) the random function seems to doesn't run correctly...
2) I can't Vote: the page refresh after hit vote but the cookie insn't set... so my vote isn't recognized.

3) After voting, the script ADD this tags to my SHTML page:

page.shtml?action=results&poll_ident=5
so the call isn't made to the php script.

ANYONE CAN HELP PLEASE ?

Same here. I just shot off an e-mail to my web host to ask if their SSI is configured to allow script calls from within an shtml file.
