Where is php.ini ?  XML

I'm trying to define the 'sendmail' path for my server emails and the docs indicate it's within the php.ini file but I don't have such a file!

I have config.inc.php but it's not in there, or if it is it's not obvious.

the mail() function should work just fine unless your host does not allow you to send emils using php.
