Currently using 2.3.1 and getting 2 or 3 spam bots each week, which I manually delete and then ban IP.
I dropped by the forum to check on spam bots solutions but I'm now hestating upgrading as I have quite highly customised 2.3.1 files for presentation and fear that that work could make my head sore going over the all again.
Few questions;
1. Is 2.3.1 secure from exploitation?
2. Would the upgrade be of much benefit, considering the payload to get there? Possibly only I can answer that!
3. What is the major differences between 2.3.4 and Lazarus, and why is 2.3.4 still offered?
Thanks.

1 - No 2.3.1 is not secure and has a couple of exploits.
2 - The upgrade would fix these exploits. Also if you are using 2.3.4 you can download my prepatched files to add the anit bot test.
3 - Lazarus is a fork or offshoot of Advanced Guestbook and is my work not the work of Chi Kien Uong although it is based upon his work. Lazarus adds a lot of new features including three layers of spam protection.
Carbonize I am not the maker of the Advanced Guestbook
