advanced poll 2.02 install question

I was trying to install the poll as I was following a guide but I ran into a problem.
I am using the textfile version, but once i long on to the polls setup menu, NONE of the images load. I checked the path in the include/config.inc.php file and everything was correct.
Also I can create a poll, but when i insert the 
nothing loads. no poll, no error, nothing!
can anyone help?

as far as the images go you need to make sure you have the correct options in your include/config.inc.php for base_url & base_gif

ok i got the poll working but the results laod on the wrong page.

if you go to www.skatedorks.com/main.htm and vote, you'll see that the content on the right disappears after you vote or if u click results!!
help!
