hi, I searched all forums but since the error message is get is not telling me anything I better ask here:
[Sat Jan 17 15:25:04 2004] [error] [client 213.51.52.150] Premature end of script headers: /home/httpd/vhosts/enduro.nl/cgi-bin/gastenboek/guestbook.pl
the headers are:
# url of script
$cgiurl = "http://www.enduro.nl/cgi-bin/gastenboek/guestbook.pl";
# administration password
$admin_pass = "123";
# base url to all guestbook files without trailing "/"
$bookurl = "http://www.enduro.nl/gastenboek";
# base directory to all guestbook files from the server root without trailing "/"
$base_dir = "/home/httpd/vhosts/www.enduro.nl/httpdocs/gastenboek";
I chmodded everything to 777 and uploaded in AscII
Where is my mistake??

little help here. I emailed my provider and they came up with u2x ; a little program to run over my .pl file after modifying it. It takes out the non-unix 'symbols'; then upload with Ws-ftp and all is fine. Even Notepad can apparently ruin your .pl file.
For people with persisting problems: mail me at hvanderspek@hotmail.com and I will send it to you.
