It would be much easier for all levels of users to navigate through your regular guestbook if, instead of just a drop-down menu, it actually stated "To see previous posts, click here"

It doesn't JUST have a drop down menu. It also has previous page and next page links.

I've looked and I don't see anything but the drop-down menu (my wife couldn't figure out how to get to a previous page of messages, so I'm wondering how well other folks will do). The page to which I'm referring can be viewed at http://deanhaskins.com/guestbook/guestbook.html.

And while I'm asking, is there any way for the guestbook to display the last 20 messages rather than starting a new page once the previous one contains 20? That way it wouldn't look at first glance like it contains only one message when a new page has been started.

hmm I think we are at cross purposes. I thought you were talking about Advanced Guestbook 2.3.x and no t1.5 as I now see you are.

This is what is offered to us by our webhosting service (serversanddomains.com). Is there anything I can do to alleviate these problems? The admin area only allows us to delete individual entries.

I have never used 1.5 Amber 222 is th eonly person I know who has. I use the database guestbook Advanced Guestbook.
