advanced poll error on connect?

It installed fine, but when inserted into html, it just shows up as text starting from
connect(); $php_poll = new plist();
etc., up to the end.
The poll files are in a different directory from html. Html are in /dir, poll files are in /dir2
I have php 4.2.2, mysql 3.26.56
And yeah, I inserted the <?php include "../polls/poll_cookie.php"; ?> line before everything else.

When you press on 'view results', it just displays the poll again. Anybody have a clue?

You need to rename the page from html to php.

What about renaming just the part that the script is in, and then ssi it to the main page which is html? I don't want to rename the whole thing, it would be a pain in the butt.. Because it's the index page.

He means the extension of the page from *.html to *php.
