hide email address in advanced guestbook

is there a way to have visitors enter there email address and not have it display in the guest book public view or the view source? i would like to capture the email address and be able to view them in admin mode only. i don't want people and robots to be able to spam my guests.

you can just remove it from the template/s that output that code for the public viewable guestbook pages.

i've already taken it out of entry.php and it does not display on the guestbook when you view it, but it still generates the email address from the database in the view source. any one have more detailed info on how to do this and what templates need to be modified.
