Help PLEASE?!

It means that your hosts do not supply you with MySQL.

I am my own host and I have MySQL 5.0 installed and set up... next thought?

The mysql.so extension library does not come with the PHP or MySQL distributions. It must be installed separately by downloading the php-mysql RPM.

Having SQL and PHP installed does not mean you have the SQL libraries for PHP installed.

Isn't MySQL 5 an RC or Beta version?

thanks to all... I have is sorta running now... had to downgrade PHP to 4.something.. 5 just wasn't an option.
