I installed the poll script and it works great, except for one issue for the view comments. When I try replacing the poll-id with "newest", it won't display it. It works for displaying the newest poll, but not the newest comments. Thanks in advance for the help...

Auron, must be on holiday?

Just a thought - why have the poll and the comments on separate pages? Creating a poll as in Demo 4 will show the comments on the same page as the poll and should solve your problem.
