Hi, I just had the guestbook installed and I was wondering if you guys can help me with something. I want to customize it tottaly, like I want to put an image at the top and take off the "sign the guestbook" image and the big GUESTBOOK on the upper left hand.

I tried to go to the templates and edit it but I couldn't find where I could do thsoe things.

thank you SO MUCH!

I also have afew other questions!
1. when someone puts their location, it goes to the next line, where do I have to go to make it go in front of Location
2. In the add entry page, how can I change the head of the page? I looked in the addentry.php, but it wasn't there!
3. Also in the add entry page, how can I add css to the fields (I think that's what it's called). You know, the place where people fill in the blanks.
4. Also, is there anyway to add space between each entry?

Thank you to anyone who is willing to help.

1 - entry.php

2 - header.php - The same header is used for most pages

3 - CSS is already used. It is defined in the header.php file.

4 - lost me on that one.

thank you so much for number 1.

But number 2, it's not in the header either cuz each one says a different thing.

Like in the addentry, it says

Sign the Guestbook
Fill out the blanks below to sign the guestbook. After you submit your entry, you will be returned to the guestbook. The blanks with (*) represent required fields.

then in the admin.php it says
Guestbook - Administration
Guestbook - Administration Centre
Before you can proceed you have to enter a valid name and password!

then when you sign the guestbook and it goes to the transition page it says
Guestbook
Thank you for signing the guestbook
your entry was added successfuly! You should be transferred back to the guestbook in 2 seconds.

and on number 3, I meant like each individual field. Like the background color for it and the border for it and the size. The header only has fonts!

The messages you refer to for 2 are all kept in the relevant language file. Try lang/english.php

As for the form inputs the main ones aer in form.php with the others being in the relevant templates such as form_aim.php for the AIM input.

thank you so much for all of your help.

I was wondering if there is one more thing you can help me with. For some reason, it won't let anyone make an entry. I don't know what happened but now when i press submit it just refreshes.

lang/english.php you have

Which may be causing the problem. Take the space out at the start of submit.

On slightly different matter you need to remove the css from body.php (I think thats where you have put it) and just just add it to the input declaration in header.php. You also need to fix the table holding your banner as you have placed the img tag outside the TD.So the image is to the left in Firefox and not in the center.

is that really crucial? cuz that's the first thing i did and it was working fine. cuz i like the way it is now so I wanna keep from doing anything that's gonna make it look different cuz it took me like a week to get it that way, lol.
