Hello,

I've just installed version 2.4 and made some modifications.
How can I upgrade to 2.4.1 without a complete new installation?

The following files has been changed in 2.4.1:

- lib/add.class.php
- lib/image.class.php
- lib/gb.class.php
- admin/panel_edit.php
- addentry.php
- image.php
- templates/captcha.php

just replace these files

Unfortunatly, it did not work.

The gb remained in 2.3.1 state, allthough I discovered some more changed files and I even updated the database with update_db.php and changed the config file.

After that I made a copy of my database, deleted the complete 2.3.1 installation and installed the 2.4.1 from scratch.

After that I restored the database (I removed the drop tables and create tables) and everything was ok.

The only thing I have to do now is to make my own translation again and modify the template a bit.

You also needed to run the database updater found in the misc folder.

Where can I find a link to download the latest release of the AGB?
I do have a lot of spam-posts, and I will stop this.
I hope the image verification will stop this.

Ahum, I do have al lot of problems.
First of all, the files I have to change are not the the places they should be.
I'm wandering if I do have the right guestbook. I do have this one from "Dreamy" and "kooky" version 2.4.000
I've checked the install instructions from this version if everything went right, and it is.
The only thing I want is a visual confirmation added before a guest can post (becouse I have a lot of spam-posts)
I see in version 2.4.1 is this feature availleble. But I do have a lot of problem for updating this.
can someone help me?

I manualy made the code-changes as you discribes in this topic.
One good thing is that the human verification works.
But when the guest tries to post something in my guestbook, and he forget something he should fil in, there are some errors.
This is the error:

This is my add.class.php from line 77 till 89:

Can you help me, to fix my problem?
You can try it yourselve on my guestbook

Set permissins on the tmp folder to 777. It shouldn't do this function unless the permissions on the folder are correct.

When I go to my ACP, manage guestbook, to teh screen with the possibility to choose introduction, easy admin, general settings,...... everything is OK, but if I chosse one of these options i get a blank page.
This was never before.
So I did something wrong, can you give me a hint please?
