Have you set all the permissions correctly?

Isn't there like gb code so that they can put images in their posts?

I think there was a problem with the gb that it some how allowed
links or javascript or something. I think there was a post about it
from Jared a long time ago.

The post above was me ^^
The simple way...

Then in the poll templates "YOU CAN EDIT THRU THE ADMIN PANEL" you can delete almost all the html apart from the stuff to show the poll and any font tags that were left in their. But they could be replaced with your own classes and id's in a stylesheet if you know how.

Like amber said to get the correct path it is alreay found for you
if you have a look round the admin panel.

NOTE TO OTHER USERS!
Look thru the admin panel before posting in case you find what you were looking for!!!
Guest wrote:I've just installed Advanced Poll onto my web space, via Fantastico, but when viewing the (mydomain/poll.php) it says poll 1does not exist' and the same for the rest... any ideas?

This program doesn't seem to be very helpful - especially the readmt/FAQ files!

Your better off installing it yourself rather than letting Fantastuco do it.
It was pretty useless when i used it to install IPB it took up 15MB! I did it and it took a lot less.
Obvious- if the ydon't exsist create them!!
amber222 wrote:Did you save the file as .php? Saving as .html will cause this error.

Also, did you place this php code at the very top of the document, before the html?

The file has to be on the server for your poll to show up. That's because it is loaded on the server.

The code above is not compulsory just if you want it.
The file extension may be the problem, also replace the x with the poll' poll id which can be found in the admin panel.

He/She' is not trying to show them all on one page but rather display
it on pages other that those demo pages. All i can say is that without looking
at that pages code I can't say. Check all the code you've written and make
sure its correct.

My guess for a solution is that you have one to many of these in the code '<'.
Check around line 47 like the error says...

800x600 isn't all bad, i'd say its dying out fast.
You can just go into the admin panel and then templates and edit them there.

First I would use require and not include as this way if the password file is not found the script wont run.

If the file that contains the script is not found then how can the script run anyway??

Also you may wish to re-write your notes on Jared' method of securing the
guestbook since its doesn't make much sense.

It is? I wouldn't know myself, never used it or even downloaded it.
You learn something new everyday ^^
Yeah I saw that post - a very good idea - another idea is to remove the link
to the admin area from the templates because that's just stupid to start with.
I know its not as good as yours but it's simpler and stops them from even
getting to the admin panel unless they guess the URL to it.

_ Auron
lol, good plan.
Another way of doing it for an extreme solution is to only upload the admin stuff when you need it.

_ Auron
..extremely??
Looks like it. It only looks odd coz you've deleted the default polls that were setup at install.
