each poll has a poll id use that id with the poll include and code below your current poll or on a separate page with a link to it below your current poll as well.

Auron
if you can login in to the admin panel there is a menu at the top, choose the last option and the necessary code is there.

Auron
What the hell did that all mean?!?

Auron
most ftp progs have this function.

Usually right click on the item you wish to chmod then select permissions
or chmod and then put in the required 3 digit number.

Auron
Have you uploaded all the files and folders?
chmod'ed them?
Run the database installation file? (if your using the db version not textfile)

Auron
go to http://www.yourdomain.com/poll/admin
(yours may be different)

Default username and password are admin and poll I think.
Everything you need to know is in there.

Auron
Probably put in the wrong path during installation or the user table in the database needs to be re-done. Best thing to do is re-install the Adv. Poll.

Auron
lol np.

Auron
in the admin area you can change it i think under general settings.

Anonymous wrote:u/httpdocs/academy/regis.dat is a totally different path than what your error path message is. I would change that path to reflect the true location of regis.dat

probably should be /var/scohttp/cgi-bin/regis.dat

should be /var/scohttp/academy/regis.dat
go to the dir you installed the poll in eg...

http://www.yourdomain.com/poll

then add to that /admin

Then you'll get into the admin area which should sort you out.
The default username and password is admin and poll I think.

Auron
its in the admin area under general settings.

Bar width or something.

Auron
nope you only chmod'ed the folder and not the files.

Auron
its exactly the same for windows as it is for a *nix system apart from on
a windows server you don't need to do any chmod'ing.

Auron
BUMP!
