I'm looking for the way of removing the dropdown menu from the guestbook, and to get rid of the two default images at the top of the guestbook. I've modified the header & footer ( and backed up the originals.
Thanks --> www.akdingo.com/guestbook
the guestbook link on the left menu doesnt work.

oh never mind, after I posted I checked the url of the images in IE, then did a search through my entire site for 'gbook.gof' ... needless to say I found everything I was after under 'templates / body.php .
Sorry if you went to any trouble...

if you want something to do - I want the 'sign guestbook' and all those other 'return to guestbook and other similar things to appear under the 'guestbook' menu on the left. I know it's doable, but I'm still working through that ATM.
Cheers

the left-hand menu on my page is part of the header.php file, and I wanted to know if that 'sign guestbook' link in that left menu would change to 'return to guestbook' if I browsed to the 'sign guestbook' page?

hmmmmmmmmmmmm possibly by moving the menu code from the header file to the body.php file. Would need to look more into it. Oh and you need to put the javascript back in the head section as it is responsible for the thumbnails being links that open the full size image ina new window.
Also when I went to your main site the link at the bottom is for http://www.adinsdale.com/ which I assume is your old domain but it must of expired as it no longer works.

I'll try moving the menu around to the body.php, I think it might be too advanced for 12 am at night.
I've changed webhosts, and I'd forgotten my domain name info so I could redirect the DNS servers to my new host. so yes adinsdale.com is my old domain and I can't use it. I'll doublecheck my site later on thismorning.

Ok you could put the bottom part of you menu in to body.php and form.php and just have the link changed on each. Body being the "Sign the Guestbook" link and form.php having the "Return to Guestbook" link.
Whilst you are in form.php you could do with removing

Yes, goto bed. But apart from that try specifying the size in the table CSS or add .font1 and .font2 to your CSS
