The instructions provided are simple enough.

1 - Edit the config.inc.php file found in the admin folder to reflect your MySQL username, password and server location.

2 - Upload everything to your web space.

3 - CHMOD (change the permissions of) the tmp[/] and [b]public folders to 777.

4 - Run install.php, again providing your MySQL details.

5 - View the guestbook in your web browser and login to the admin section then change the password.

What is your first language? If it's a European languge then feel free to use it as I'm sure one of us will know it.

Login to 127.0.0.1 using an FTP client and change the permissions using the FTP client. There are other ways of doing it but this is easiest.
