I have the same problem my guestbook is spammed at least 20 times a day, with porn, gambling, incest links about 20 links a post i to have contacted my website host requesting it be dropped, because i have emailed these losers more than once and they don't reply, so there is no help here people, get rid !

THIS GUESTBOOK IS CRAP - MY SECURITY FEATURES ARE SET AT OUTRAGIOUSLY HIGH SETTINGS YET THE PASSWORD REQUIRED DOES NOT WORK AND THE 5 WORD MAX LIMIT OBVIOUSLY DOESN'T I GET ABOUT 100 LINK FILLED COMMENTS PER DAY - HAVE REPORTED THIS ISSUE TO MY HOSTING COMPANY SO THEY WILL DROP THIS GUESTBOOK FROM THEIR APPLICATIONS LISTING! bECAUSE HOW IS IT BEING SPAMMED AND ACCESSED WITHOUT ANY ACCESSABLE LINK?

I am using this guestbook for my website and keep getting spam from a particular user. Will someone help me stop this somehow, maybe by having a password to leave a comment which I've tried this setting in Admin but it did nothing, or putting the letters from the image file like you do here (the form validation thing).

I used a previous version of this guestbook and if fact I have disabled it due to too much spamming 
But if I'm not wrong the new version has a new feature to avoid spamming.

I am very insired with the way this site is putting the attention to this situation...usage of this word N, I don't care how you dress it up change the spelling ending with a or er, To me it will always be a racial slur, you cannot change the past, history of this is recorded, I have a business name OUR BLACK HERITAGE BOOKSTORE/GIFT SHOP,in Harlem and we always putting it out there to change the usage of the word with all the younger people who think and feel that nothing is wrong saying it. WE sell the slave plaques, Jim Crow memorabillia, and my belief it has to be taught to them, they are not showing interest in our history as African-Americans, because unless it is dealt with in their households, it won't sink in. We will not tolerate it that anyone of any color will use it, like it ok..Stop the hate of ourselves, and remember those that paved the way, our ancestors...So I give praise and blessings for taking on the task of bringing this issue to the attention of all parties concerns..
